Barry Minkow has pleaded guilty to insider trading in shares of a home building stock. I cannot tell from the article why he is guilty of insider trading. It looks like he planted a negative story and then bought puts betting the stock would fall.This may be predatory but it is not inside information.
At any rate he has resigned from his Church and disconnected his phone. Better dust off those orange coveralls. As we noted in ethics class few of these kind of guys really reform. Minkow is famous for his promotion of the ZZZZ Best Cleaning company which was a
Professor – that’s pretty poor reporting! My only hope is that St. Paddy has seen you out for too many pour's today.
Minkow has Not Plead guilty. There is not even a case on record at the Southern District of Florida US Court House yet..
Is it possible that you attribute another article that says "minkow to plead".....? Let me know...

Something bothers me Professor, about your teaching ethics – if this is your Blog. Just seems unethical – to be teaching students to develop an opinion think critically, objectively and Morally and for you to write, “dust off those orange coveralls” without one iota of facts – causes me concern.
Ethic(s) are rooted in Moral Ground – or is that shrub just sitting in dirt?
Btw – yeah, he may be guilty as hell – but I hope you ain’t teaching my kid to be so weak on the uptake as to subscribe to a thoughtless decision..

Wrong, today's WSJ states that Minkow's attorney reports his client will plead guilty, case closed.
Whoever you are this provides a good example that indeed anyone can post on the net without checking the facts, but that would be you not me.
