We have discussed the cost of the new Cowboy Stadium and whether this will weather the economic
storm, see previous post on food stamps.Parade dispatched a reporter to give us the up close and personal experience. She encoutered a fellow who had paid $24,000 for the rights to two seats, the actual tickets are another $2500 a season,l no word on whether that price is subject to escalation, but I would imagine it is. $758 for a family of four to go to the game. Send me the photos...
Well sounds like good fun. Fun for those who have that kind of money. I am a huge fan but not a rich one. For those who have it and can spend it they got it made. If there are alot of those commited fans I do believe this stadium will weather the storm. If they continue to entertain the audience with so much more than just the game then it will be fine.

i really do think that the new stadium can survive. even during the current downturn. i have been a fan for a long time but even i wouldnt poay for some of the things at the stadium. but the cowboys did a smart thing in having people buy the seats for thirty year options. i think the cowboys have a product that will get them through the storm and beyond.

Jerry Jones will forever have his hand in the surrounding city's pockets. Its because of fans in San Antonio, Austin, Laredo, etc that this stadium will succeed. Those same people are the reason why SA will never have an NFL team. But I digress. Those seats are all corporate seating now Dr. Elam. I see it at work. I go to the ATT center on work seats an notice everyone around me in the charter level is either wealthy or are there on their corporate seats. Jerry Jones knows and understands this very well. Companies have to pay whatever price to get their customers to a game.
