There is a very interesting interview via CNBC displayed this morning on finance.yahoo.com. I was not able to paste it here and I don't know how long it will be up. Art Cashin said last Friday was one of the strangest days he can remember in 50 years of trading. While the market was up 374 points, there were more down than up. And Bob P points out Thursday was down 250 and Monday was down. Art also noted the collapse of the long dollar short euro trade had a lot of people throwing in the towel
And most puzzling as Art put it, the Transports dropped 70 points with oil down over 5%.
The answer of course is that we are transitioning to a bear market.
